This giant old log house was built as the Lutheran Church and has been recreated as a vacation rental home to appeal to discerning castle lovers everywhere. The living room is the quintessential “great room” with an enormous rock fireplace and Cedar Tree-trunks supporting the ceiling! It has comfy stuffed couch seating (also beds), a King Arthur sized dinning room table, large TV, writing desk, and, yes, a real Grand Piano.You step up into the main floor Master Bedroom for the real red carpet treatment: Queen Bed, Bathtub in the Bathroom, elegant appointments, and French doors to the balcony. There is another Bathroom with a shower just off the Great Room, and a half-bath at the top of the stairs.
Downstairs, the “dungeons” are light and spacious with a common area and a third Bathroom with a shower.There is a second Master Bedroom with a King bed and its own Stone Fireplace (useable in the fall of ‘08). A second bedroom is ‘L’ shaped with a Queen Bed in one leg and Bunk Beds in the other. There is also a set of Bunk Beds in the common area and another set is an open room off the common area. Point is, you can even bring your Pages and Squires!
The kitchen is beautifully appointed with a professional stove and dish washer.There is a washer and dryer downstairs.The deck is large with a BBQ, picnic table, chairs, and wood for the winter fires.
